We use the Human Resources function of Navision just simply to keep absense information, no payroll. When you go to a employee, and call up their card, you can get the absenses. Does Navision provide, without a custom mod, a way for us to exclude last years dates from the display? We still want to keep the information, but at the same time, we do not necessarily want to see it. I was wondering if there was a way to “compress” it so that we only see this years dates?
Torolf There is no way of compressing entries in the employee absence table; but what if you were to run the Employee Absences by Categories form, set the form date filter to year and use Net Change? This way you will see totals for the year by category and can drill down for the detail. The form will retain these filter choices next time you open it.
