HP Unix

We have an Hp Unix installation and succeeded in enlarging the database in 2 gb segments (2.6). Now we have a database of 3.7 (it was 1.8) gb. When restoring the restored crashes on the reindexing of a large database but it is a strange error : the server replies that the disk is full. Normaly you would get a message to enlarge the database. On a NT server of this size the database seems to restore ok. What does this message mean ??? Thanks…

I vaguely recall something about something called ULIMIT in AIX which caused similar problems. This can be changed with the command “limit” or “ulimit” depending on your shell.
