My Business central version got updated to a newer version. Is it possible to go back to the older version and how?
Nope.
With BC Cloud it is very important to pay attention to the release plan and how coming changes may impact what you are doing.
Did you look at restoring a backup from before the upgrade? Or copying from production on top of your sandbox (assuming production has not been updated yet)?
