How to reverse General Journals in Axapta 3.0

Hi Expert,

iam new to ax ,i have one basic question how i can reverse the General Journals in Axapta 3.0.

Hi Shailesh,

General journal can’t be reversed, but voucher can be reversed. For journal reversal, you need to enter same journal lines with debit amount on credit side and vice versa.

Thanks for the reply, you mean to say i have pass second journal , for reverse the first entry.

Second thing you say that only voucher can be reversed can you tell me how i can reverse the voucher. means from where i can reverse the posted voucher.

Hi Shailesh,

There are certain transactions that can be reversed directly. For those transactions you need to go to Ledger/Customer/Vendor/FA Transand there you need to select the voucher and reverse it using reverse button.

For the transactions which can’t be reversed, you need to pass manual voucher which should be exact replica of the wrong journal posted. By replica, i mean if you posted debit amount to a ledger, then that amount should be on the credit side.
