# How to Reverse a Counting Journals

I just came across one of the scenario from my client, that how can he reverse his Counting Journals. Here I have given one solution and hope it would help someone also.

Reversing Stock Counting Journals:

1. Export the posted journal into excel.
2. Inventory management\>Journal entries\>Item counting\> Counting Journals\> Filter “Yes”
3. Select the posted journal one \>From the Journal \> Click on “Functions”\> Copy

Then update the same quantity with negative value.  
Check all details before posting.
