how to make report including routing

Dear All, I need your help to develop a schedule of production orders mixed with routing, but only the first operation of all operations available in the routing in a report. I have tried as follows: DataItem Production Order (indented)Prod. Order Line (2x indented)Prod. Order Routing Line for example, my routing is as follows: 5. Work center 100 Material Check Staring date : 04/21/06 Ending Date : 04/22/06 10. Machine Center 110 Rough cutting Staring date : 04/24/06 Ending Date : 04/25/06 15. Machine center 115 Drilling Staring date : 04/26/06 Ending Date : 04/27/06 20. Machine Center 120 CNC Cutting Staring date : 04/28/06 Ending Date : 04/29/06 30. Machine Center 130 Finishing Staring date : 04/30/06 Ending Date : 05/01/06 40. Work Center 140 Painting Staring date : 05/01/06 Ending Date : 05/02/06 I just want that only the work center 100, machine center 110, machine center 130 and work center 140’s starting date and ending date appear in the report in the section production order routing line. The report I want will looks like: Status : Firm planned item no.|Description|Operation No.|Type|No.|Starting Date|Ending Date Last Operation|Qty|Finished Qty|Remaining Qty| 2001| nut| 5| Work Center|100|042106|-|100|0|100 2001| nut| 10| Machine center|110|042406|-|100|0|100 2001| nut| 40| work center|140|050106|0502100|0|100 Pls let me know how to make the report. Rgds, Mark

To exclude the unwanted operations, in dataitem Prod. Order Routing Line OnAfterGetRecord trigger you may write some code like this: IF NOT(((Type = Type::Work Center) AND (No. = 100)) OR ((Type = Type::Machine Center) AND (No. = 110)) OR ((Type = Type::Work Center) AND (No. = 140)) ) THEN CurrReport.SKIP; Not very elegant, but it will work. Dear Ms. Anna, tks for your reply. I’ve tried but here is the answer when I want to exit the designer: " ‘)’ should come here", then the cursor is automatic located here (sign ??): IF NOT(((Type = Type::Work ??Center)… [?] Rgds, Mark

Anna just forgot some little things like " and '. So the correct syntax would be: IF NOT(((Type = Type::“Work Center”) AND (“No.” = ‘100’)) OR ((Type = Type::“Machine Center”) AND (“No.” = ‘110’)) OR ((Type = Type::“Work Center”) AND (“No.” = ‘140’)) ) THEN CurrReport.SKIP;

in my understanding the first operation of your routing is the No. 5 assigned to WC 100. But you would like to print operations 5, 10, 40 and maybe also 30. What I missed? Are you asking something specific for the routing in your example, or something generic that could word for every routing in your db? [?]
