How to know the work status and amount

Hi ,

we have a client is manufacturing Environment.

client Plans for the new infrastructure (such as conference halls and Offices and storage units) for company purpose.
so client called the contractor and assigned the work . This work goes for a long time , client wants to know the work status and how much spend all these details.

This task is Internal Purpose(not selling to any body), so how to do this in navision ?

it’s the matter of how you record the expense so far. do you use dimension (Project, for example) on writing journals? or do you pool all expenses in certain g/l accounts?
