how to know the format of date entered

Hi All,

I want to find whether the date passed is YYYY/MM/DD or DD/MM/YYYY format. Do we have any inbuilt functions in ax ?

I want to know the format of the date entered, whether it is DD/MM/YYYY or any other format.

Any help would be highly appreciated.

Date format in AX is based on your Windows setup. If you change it in your OS, it will affect to AX.
So check your OS date format.
