How to know the finantial dimension of Employee in ax 2012

hello friends,

How can i find the department of employee in ax 2012 where we don’t set any position for the employee.

It is showing the dimension on the HCMWorker form but i am unable to find out.

Let me verify my understanding.

You have a default dimension linked to departments. You want to get the value of this dimension for a particular worker. Correct?

Then the question is how you identify the dimension. I usually create a parameter where we set which dimension attribute we want to use for a particular purpose.

You could find the dimension linked to departments, but you mustn’t forget that it’s possible to create multiple dimensions linked to the same source table.
