How to Install Contoso Database in AX 2012

Dear Friends,

I would be very much thankful , if any one can help me to install Contoso Database in my axapta 2012. I am new in Ax so I dont have clear knowledge and idea so pls kindly send me a tutorial or guide me exact steps to install Contoso database in my Ax system.

ContosoBIdemoBAK and ABF file i have . I dont know this is complete contoso db file or its just contains Retail. I hope this db works in Ax 2012. Kindly guide me and help me to install Contoso Db into my system.

Hi,

  1. Start Sql Server management Studio

2.right click on tour ax2012 databases-> Tasks - > Restore

3.Select from device option thn browse your device

4.then select your .bak file

5 Click Check Box then click on ok

  1. It will be restore
