How to do material fore cast in AX 2009

I am very new in AX and i would like to know about the material planning in AX. Somebody can help me?

I hope you have material for master planning. This module needs a small setup such as creation of master plan, forecast plan, item coverage groups etc.

Using master planning (that is the term used in AX) you can create PO and Production orders based on coverage group and master plan.

Not sure what exactly you mean when you say help and also whether you have any functional background. So here are some general suggestions -

  • If you have access to CustomerSource or PartnerSource, you can download the learning materials from there.
  • Also if you search in this forum, you may find many tips.
