HI. To design a report with MS DYNAMICS NAV 2009 with sql server do i need any other tool? I have Visual Studio 2008, will it work?
There are two types of reports with NAV2009, The classic one and the other RDLC report.
The classic reports are designed within NAV and no external tool is required, where the RDLC reports (used in RTC) are designed in Visual Studio.
I recommend reading “Application Designer’s Guide” for learning report development.
