How to delete Historical transactions in Nav 2009?

Hi,

I’m new in Nav 2009 r2 and I have been instructed to create a new company. I back up and restore a database and use an existing company. I want to use that existing company’s Chart of Accounts but my concern is… I’m having trouble in deleting the historical transactions for that company. can someone help me please?

You can use following tool to delete the historical data

Or Else

Create a new company in the same database and copy the chart of accounts using Administration–>Application setup–>General–> Setup Checklist

Then take backup of only that company and restore it .You will have only setups in that database and not data.
