How to create the Batch order (Type - Vendor) in Ax 2009

Dear All,

In Ax 2009, i am unable to create the batch order ( Type - Vendor) for formula items.

Production order > New > Type (Standard, Process, Vendor)

Batch order > New > Type (Process) is non editable.

Because of this i am unable to create the vendor batch order for formula items.

can any one help in this regards,
