# How to create barcodes with a number sequence in AX 2012 Retail

I’m trying to create barcodes for items, through a number sequence but I can only create barcodes with zeroes:

I’m doing it in this way:

The number sequence looks like this:

I can see that the number sequence is increased every time i’m creating a barcode, but the number sequence is not added to the barcode.

The barcode setup is like this:

Does anyone have an idea to solve this problem ?

Hi Gopinath.

It’s one of the articles I have already read. Unfortunately the article don’t explain why the barcode only content zeroes, when I try to produce a new one
