how to add the opening balance in NAV report after entring the date filter…means i want to find the opening balance before that date filter?

Specifying a date filter will limit the data showed to that period.
But It really depends on which report you’re talking about.
The standard “trial balance” report shows “Net change” and “Balance” of the period you have specified. If you want to know the balance as it was on ex. January 1st. before any posts, then you can specify “…C31-12-12” (C = closing date - the “date” between two periods).
The “Trial Balance by Periods” will show you 12 periods, but ALSO the opening balance.
