How to add " Date Effective " in AX-2009

i worked in 2012 there i can easy to add it Tbl → properties → ValidTimeStateFieldType

but i want to the same in ax 2009 but there is not available that option (ValidTimeStateFieldType) i want to add StartDate and EndDate plz help me

This functionality has been added in AX 2012, therefore it isn’t available in AX 2009.
Adding StartDate and EndDate field is trivial - it’s the same as adding any other fields. But you’ll have to implement any business logic (e.g. checking for overlapping periods) by yourself.
