We are about to implement NAV and one potential problem is a user accidently scrolling to a different customer and affecting the wrong data. Does anybody know of a way to deactivate the scroll wheel functionality in NAV?
Not without deactivating it through the regular Windows Device Manager, but then you’d deactivate it for everything. Perhaps by disabling it on Terminal Server or Citrix you might be able to accomplish that. That might work if NAV is the only app you publish. There are no mouse controls in C/AL programming.
Are these users coming from a Unix or mainframe environment? Really its just a case of training them. Make sure they get some training in how to use the mouse.
