How can we use these dimensions.

Hi ,

Thanks to everynbody who is giving awesome support to the freshers.

In Sales & receivables setup there is Tab Dimensions, In Inventory setup there is Tab Dimensions.

Can i know what is the use of this dimensions, how can we these diemnsions.

Even i gone through the help , it does not say anything ( NAv 2009).

share your experience.

These r used on Sales Analysis.

i already defined the dimension in G/L edger setup , still i am not able to understand how can we this dimensions .

As i said fill them in and try Sales Analysis which is in Sale and Receivables module. As u can select customer groups etc on Sales Anlaysis u will just select the group and the values with these dimensions can be analyzed.
