how can i group more than one field in the report

hi all of you,

I just make a report from Item ledger entry table that’s look like this

Item No Entry Type Posting Date Location code Quantity Cost Amount

Sale 01/27/11 BLUE -10 -3,505.94

Sale 01/27/11 YELLOW -10 -3505.94

But i want it looks like below

Not really sure about AX 2009 but yes it is possible in AX 2012.

Hi Avinash,

You can use grouping concept in the report designing,for your query use parent group for item no. and child group for Entry Type,Posting Date,Location.
