We have a work centre being a 1kg line, which has 2 machines on it. Most products go through both machines at the same time though to 1 packing station. Some products however have to be manually packed and go down one line.
We would like as much as possible to run the products on both lines together as it needs only 1 person for the 2 lines (as opposed to 2 people if running diferent products on each line), so the priority planning should be for this.
Does anyone have a similar routing setup?
I have started with a work centre and 2 machine centres, running them in parallel for both lines. This works but I cannot get them to always run at the same time.
The plan was to manually change the routing on products that can go down either line to a one line route.
Ideas are welcome.
