We have a client which does business in London. We have Tax Business Posting Groups and Tax Product Posting Groups set up for the london company. The client has a unique requirement: when issuing a credit memo the client does not want to charge the same resource account to which the sale was charged as they do not want to show a reduction in income and instead they want to charge directly to a G/L Account and show it as a bad debt. The problem is Navision is not allowing them to do so as the General Posting Setup and Tax Posting Setup does not exist. What would be the best way to solve this problem. Thanks, Anu N.Anu
In the posting setup you can specify an account for credit memos. If that field is blank the sales account is used, but if it is filled in then the Credit memo account is used.
