How can we define Group Total for a series of accounts in COA,
For eg: series of accounts starting from 100010 … 199910, i need to total vaule for all these accounts in one ledger account say 199999 which will be a group total.
Kindly help me out.
Hi,
For the total type of accounts, you can give the range of account numbers.
For instance, in AX 2012, in the main account form, select any total type of account and in the relational information group under main accounts tab, you can define the range of accounts.
In the earlier versions, the range of accounts can be setup through the setup button.
