Group Email

Here’s the situation. Marketing wants to collect all the emails from Navision -and send out - from Navision an email announcement to all the customers.

Joyce shows me this routine where she opens Sales Receivables / Customers / Communications /email /customer card. There is the customer’s email. Her only option is sending one email per customer. In the List there is no email data.

Is it possible to collect, append, add to the customer’s email into the List . I don’t know how to do this.

Is it possible to create a ‘group’ of Navision customer’s into one email data list? If this were possible we could send out the announcement through her Outlook Express 6 email client.

This is Navision 2.01

Thanks for any insight into the problem.

Hi John,

I haven’t used Nav back as far as 2.01 but this should work.

Here’s a report on customer filtering customers who have E-mails and exports to a file which you paste into a mail.

There are other workaround with automation etc but this should get you off the ground.[;)]
