Grid Setting in AX 2012

Hi All,

In AX 2012, there are few forms in which I want to ‘personalize’ as per user requirement.

Like in “GeneralJournalEntry” form I want to put account name in the over view grid but currently that field is locked and can not be moved in overview grid.!

Please guide why I am not able to move that wherever I want and what solution is required to apply in this case.?

What “field is locked” exactly means?

Just a blind shot: don’t the system use version control and didn’t you forget to check out the form?

By the way, I don’t see any GeneralJournalEntry form in my AX2012.
