I have posted a gate entry-inward and when i see that in posted documents it is all ok but my doubt is the status of posted gate entry document is OPEN.
What is the different between OPEN and CLOSE and how to make the document as CLOSE and what is the use of Close.
In the posted Gate Entry – Inward window, the Status field on the line level has the value as “Open”, it means gate entry – inward is still open for attachment with the purchase order, sales return order, transfer order.
When u attcch the document , then post it , now the status will change to close.
