Try to make two items, lets make their names to 100-01 and 100-01-01 now make for example a sales order and try to select the first item (100-01) to the order line. you can’t :>. I couldnt find any hotfix for that one, is this previously known bug?
Aha, one more thing. The bug appears in 3.60 but not in 3.70. Can it be fixed in 3.60?`
It is, at least, NOT client related. It works perfectly with our 03.60.00 client (build 11895). So there might be a chance to ‘fix’ that in the application.
This is probably related to different SQL collations → which define different sorting order… And “A-” comes before “A”. We try to use codes with same length…
Yes, you are right, i am using MS SQL-server. Is there any way to overcome this problem besides using the codes with same length. I got a really picky customer here :|.
