You really need to read the planning manual. [:D]
Forecast plans and settings need to be set.
Forecast need to be entered for the plan in Stock Management - Periodic - Forecast.
Master Plans need to take into account forecast plans
Coverage group settings need the forecast time fence set.
Forecast scheduling needs to be run.
Then run master planning.
