hi, i have a table with a flowfield so i can see more info out of another table using an id in both tables … when i want to add a new record i would like to fill the id field using this lookup field so the user does select with the flow-field instead of the flowfields … it is important that the user does not see the id field … he should work with the flow field showing the description … hope you understand my problem

mmmh i think my description is a little bit confuse … so once again … i need a field which shows me the description out of antoher table if another field with an id is filled … if i want to add a record i will select the entry (exactly the id) using the field where the description is shown as a lookup field showing me all possible records… is this possible or not ? *** quack ***
