Hi Friends,

How to tranfer fixed asset balance from Legacy system to Ax System?

Hi,

I guess that you must be migrating opening balances from legacy to AX.

Fixed assets are always recorded at historical price and thats why we post depreciation to Accumulated depreciation account and not directly to FA account.

I will suggest to post the balances of individual assets in system with its acquisition cost and also simultaneously post accumulated depreciation entries.

For posting, use the general journal or FA journal.
