Hi everyone, how do i use the field ‘Finished Quantity’ on the Production line. For example the Qty to produce was 20,000 pcs, but the outcome was actually 25,000 - how do i add that number?
Because right now that field is locked - meaning i can’t put in my outcome number. I’ve tried using the production journal as well, but i keep getting the same error: ‘The qty cant be higher than the original qty (20,000)’.
Please help.
Manufacturing does not have an out-of-the-box over-production setting. To handle this in the base software you would adjust your “Quantity” field on the Production Order Line, which is what the system is checking against. Once this number is greater than or equal to the amount being produced, you will be able to post your Output Journal recording the Finished Quantity.
