A table hold a date in date format in the form C30/03/02. When I try to expot this field to a .CSV file using a request form I need to exclude the C. I have tried the DELCHR command but that doesn’t work. Any suggestions?
Actually, I’m not sure that Navision holds specific date formats in the software. I have had instances of people in the same building entering dates and getting wrong information out. As it turned out, he was under a different “Regional Setting” in his Windows setup. It was interpreting and displaying all his dates as DD/MM/YY while everyone else had MM/DD/YY. This leads me to believe that Navision just holds a universal date and that the information exported to your .CSV could be controlled by your Regional Settings.
