We have an item set up as Labor, so when we choose that item we can assign Labor costs to the Quote. We choose our Labor Item, enter a quantity of 1, enter a unit price of xxx, when we tab to a new line the unit price goes away and has to be keyed in again. Any ideas on why this happens?
if there is a zero unit price on the item card it is possible you are validating another field which goes and gets the unit price from the item table.
Check the Sales Price table for that Item (Item Card, Sales button, click Prices) and see if there is a record in there with a 0 price. I think the validation gets the best price possible for the scenario on the sales line, so a zero price would be best. I haven’t tried this myself, but that’s where I’d look first.
