Export to excel is disabled

Hi,

I have created a new report, however the File>Export to excel (CTRL + T) option is disabled, but in the Floppy disk icon(export) I can see the option and use it. What could be the reason?

I was on a report.

I have learnt that ctrl+t works only with the form grids.

Please let me know if I am wrong.
