Export Data Excel to Table

Hi friends,

when i import data excel to bom table(BOM,BOMTable,BOMVersion,InventDim,BomConfigRoute) i have following error.

Microsoft Office Excel import
Importing BOM lines from C:\Users\kishorem\Desktop\BOM_temp.xls
Unknown type: VT_ERROR
Data import was interrupted

please suggest how to rectify the error.

Hi,

I think you should check your data accuracy. When certain fields are linked back to the main table, then the data you are trying to import using excel must be able to be recognise by the system.

For example, item group. You have created item group “A01” in the system. Thus, your excel data must follow the same “A01”. If your excel data is not “A01”, something like “A 01”, the data import will be corrupted as well.
