I would like to import bookings into Navision. Is there a standard way to exchange booking records between Navision and other accounting systems? Do I need to generate a file in a special format? Should I write directly to Navision database? Where do I find the database schema description? Thank you for your answer.
Hi, first of all you should clear what form of booking. Then is to proof if there is a standard bookingform for you. If exist then you have to write a dataport, to read in your data to this booking form. Now coun can book in Navision BTW : Booking = Posting of orders ?

Hi! There is no standard way. Each dealer/coustumer has its on system. But I guess that all of those systems are basicly the same. You have a file and than you import it in the general journal and post it. In some cases there is need to create Navision documents (order, invoices & co). You have to be more specific and explain what you want to import. Bostjan
