# Error while resetting the batch order.....we want to delete the order.

1.We need to delete the batch order .How can we do this.It is currenlty in “Estimated” status.

2.What will be the impact ; if the order stays in "estimated " status.

The item in the BOM is a negative quantity, therefore putting the item into stock (a By/Co Product but not in the process setup it seems)… Therefore when you reset the status it would need to remove the stock from inventory. However you have either used it or moved it so it cannot downdate the stock and hence the error message.

If it stays as estimated planning will always beleive you are going to make it and suggest you replan it.
