Error while opening SysUserSetup form i.e option form.

Hello All,

When we try to open form File>Tools>Option, it throws following error

“A network-related or instance-specific error occurred while establishing a connection to SQL Server. The server was not found or was not accessible. Verify that the instance name is correct and that SQL Server is configured to allow remote connections. (provider: SQL Network Interfaces, error: 26 - Error Locating Server/Instance Specified)”

Please provide suggestion to resolve this issue.

Hi Syed,

Are you using logged in as administrator or via roles? If you are accessing Ax from a role, please check if you are mapped to System User .

Hi Anitha,

We have logged in as administrator itself. We are facing this error only when we try to access File>Tools>Option form.
