I have a database that was created from a version 2.0 backup. I have opened this database numerous times with 2.0 exe. Today when I attmept to open the database with the 2.0 exe, the system returns the following error: Database file cannot be used with this version of the program. Does anyone know what has happened to this database and how I can correct it? Thanks
Perhaps someone mistakenly opened the database with newer executables and converted it thus rendering it unusable with older versions?
This was my first thought also, Nelson. I have attempted to open the database with each version of the exe and get the same error.
Hi, Perhaps you need to try with different versions of service packs. If I remember correctly, a 2.01A database openned in 2.01B would not open again in 2.01A later on…
