Error: The number sequence for party records is not set

Hi, While creating new customer in AX 2012 R2, I am getting the following error:

Error: The number sequence for party records is not set And it is not allowing me to create the customer. Same error is being raised while creating vendor. Would appreciate for quick help. Regards, Kapil arya

Dear Kapil,

As the error message suggest the number sequence is not set , please try to set the number sequence for the same

Hi Rohit, Thanks of r the help. I defined the number sequence under Address book and with the help of my technical, wehave updated numbersequncedatatype and numbersequncereference table and issue is solved now.
