Error on import from excel

In NAV 2013 R2, I created a configuration package for fixed assets. I exported, and data and on importing, I get the error:

A cal to System.Xml.XmlElement.SelectSingleNode failed with this message: ‘donation’ has an invalid token.

How do you sort it out?

Check the data and check whether it is containing any special characters in it .
