error on dimensions while changing..

Dear all…

ax 4.0

am working on production >> workreports>>

it having dimentions >> wbl

but it does not active on batch number & location only warehouse is active…

when i active its says… → No dimention group set up can be changed when change when transitions occurred use this setup unless the dimention group for an item is change…

i want to active these batch number & location …

please help dax user group…

beacause its argent req… no work order is created…

You cannot change a dimension group setups when there exists transactions for any item which is related to that dimension group.

So you need to attach another dimension group (satisfying your requirement) to that item.

Yes you can, until you have the rights(if the security is enabled) to do it.
