Error in Sales Order at the time of selecting item in Sales Line (Cannot create a record in On-hand inventory (InventSum). Item number: , No.)

Hi All,

I am using Ax2009. When I am creating the Sales Order and doing select Item Id in Sales Line then for some items its throwing an error “Cannot create a record in On-hand inventory (InventSum). Item number: , No.
The record already exists.”

Please help me to come out of this problem.

Problem has been resolved here is the solution.

There are some blank records in the InventTrans Table (if you are working with the intercompany concept then may be blank records in the Intercompany itself). Delete these blank lines then it will work.
