In inventory management>>periodics>>closing and adjustment>>cancellation (of already completed recalculation) error says date closed - xxxxx
item XYZ Cannot edit a record in Inventory transactions (InventTrans).
The record has never been selected.
Can any one tell what needs to be checked, i have checked period is open for the mentioned date.

Hi,
Have you closed the inventory also. I guess that you are trying to cancel the recalculation on a date before inventory closing.
If that is so, system won’t allow you to cancel it.

it is only recalculation inventory close is not done, but some time later tried cancelling it happened
am still wondering how it happened for the second time !!!

When did you posted the recalculation? Is the recalculation date and cancellation date same?
Also, make sure the date is not set to stopped in ledger periods.

Yeah both dates are same and ensured that ledger periods were open.
