Error during data upgrading AX 2009 HF8 to AX 2012 R3 CU9

Hi,

We are getting the below error while upgrading from AX 2009 HF8 to AX 2012 R3 CU9.

Error Details:

Cannot copy table DIRPARTYTABLE from source environment to table DIRPARTYTABLE
Exception has been thrown by the target of an invocation.Object reference not set to an instance of an object.
ReleaseUpdateBulkCopyExecute.run
Microsoft.Dynamics.Ax.Xpp.ErrorException: Exception of type ‘Microsoft.Dynamics.Ax.Xpp.ErrorException’ was thrown.
at Dynamics.Ax.Application.ReleaseUpdateBulkCopyExecute.Run() in ReleaseUpdateBulkCopyExecute.run.xpp:line 55
at Dynamics.Ax.Application.BatchRun.runJobStaticCode(Int64 batchId) in BatchRun.runJobStaticCode.xpp:line 54

Can some one please help me what can be done to resolve the above issue in order to proceed with the data upgrade.

Would appreciate for quick help.
