Hi, can somebody help me with the message error 2 in modul 40, which means #Err_RT_MsgNotFound (Module_RT , 2 ). But what does this really mean?
When does it occur?
Sorry I don’t know what the message is, but from the looks of it, my guess would be an error in the ETX file. This is most likely if you are running a foreign language. ry switching to English and see if you still get the message. Alos is that a typo, or is there actually an “e” missing from module. Basically these things hint towards an error in fin.etx. If you don’t have accesss to other languages, try just replacing the etx file with the english one.

Which language file are you using, and did you try changing the ETX file to the English version? The message is missing a run tim error message, and these are stored in the ETX File. My guess is that you need to find this missing error message. Then you will get the correct error message and be able to fix it.
Also need to know which version of Navision. Also are you “posting” or “Post and Printing”, it could be a printing error message.
This could be a message saying that an object is not compiled. Go to the Object designer, show all objects, and filter on “Compiled” = No, and see if there is an object that was saved without compiling.
The reason for the error message should have been a wrong installation. I asked the responsible of our client, who has installed Navision on new PC’s and he did not know, that he has to choose the (german) language befor the start of the installation.

To me the message looks like Navision is trying to generate an error message, but it can not find the actual error message int he etx file. Since it is only Post and Print, then it is most likely trying to tell you that there is a problem selecting the printer. I would suggest the following. 1/ Select a different printer and try again. 2/ Delete the printer selection records for this report and user, to let Navision fall back to the default printer. 3/ Remove the printer causing the problem, and reinstall. 4/ Change to the W1 ETX file, and see if it will give you a proper error message.
