When a worker is terminated in AX, his name appears in the past workers list. But the dates like Employment start date, employment end date, last date worked, termination reason and termination date under Employment tab are blank in the past worker form. The dates which are entered while terminating the employee are not showing in the past worker details. Can anyone tell me why these dates are not updated or did I miss anything??
Click the “Employment history” button to see the starting and ending date of the employment.
I believe it is moved to Employment history because of the reason one employee can be associated with multiple companies.
On the form which gets opened, you can click “employment date manager” to see the reason for the termination.

Thanks for the reply, I am aware that these dates are updated in Employment history details but was wondering why it is not shown in Past worker->Employment tab form. Is this a defect or this is the way system works?

I presume ‘Since an employee can be associated with multiple legal entities, which legal entities’ termination details should be shown in the employment tab. So, that’s the reason they might be showing this termination information only from employment history but not in the employment tab."
