Edit charge code

Can any one out there tell me how to edit charge code that is set up in AX 2012, everything is greyed out and won’t let me let me edit or change.

Could you give us more details like where you want to edit it or probably a screenshot would help.

Hi Tony,

What I understand is you want to edit the Charges code. If my understanding is correct the solution is go to the Charges code to be edited and Right Click you find Record Information click the same and Rename the Charges Code.

Hope it servers your purpose.

What am trying to do in charge code is to edit Debit - Type, Posting and Account in the posting tab because the account were wrongly configured, I want to replace them with a different account and posting.

Checked and found all the fields you mentioned is editable only. Don’t understand why you can’t edit the same. It is better you can check with your administrator since some time it may be kept non editable for the users.
