Having established a connection to a navision database in Visual InterDev using the C/ODBC driver. Certain queries fail with the following error: “Data provider or other service returned an E_FAIL status.” The problem is not persistent on all tables, but on certain tables, such as the sales header table, it is. However, some queries work fine several times then returns the same error for apparently no reason as nothing have changed. The C/ODBC connection is version 2.50 and it is configured to run with a local database. The database is exlusively used by this connection.
