Hi,

While posting a query, please provide as much information as possible. Have you tried follow the instructions in DAX 2009 installation guide while installing .NET BC? If you still receive the error, please send the error details including error entries from Event viewer.

Also search in this forum for this issue as many DAX 2009 component installation issues were discussed here previously.

please find log files.

Hi,

It seems you are running the .Net BC installer from a folder on your hard disk and from the error looks like you do not have all the files copied. Can you find in windows explorer the *D:\Dynamics AX 2009\Msi\Components32\globalassemblycache\globalassemblycache\LT*Microsoft.Dynamics.Framework.BusinessConnector.Proxy.resources.dll file?

I think you will have to copy the entire installer once again or run it from the dvd image.

Iulian.

hi Lulian,

i have DAX 2009 folder on hard drive and run it from there i have checked those .dll files all files are

there in their respective locations.

Shahid,

Try uninstalling complete axapta client on the machine and then install again client with business connector. Hope it may work.

this is the missing file showing in Application log

D:\Dynamics AX 2009\Msi\Components32\globalassemblycache\globalassemblycache\LT*Microsoft.D*
ynamics.Framework.BusinessConnector.Proxy.resources.dll.

these are the avaiable files in that particular folder:

Microsoft.Dynamics.Framework.BusinessConnector.Proxy.resourc.dll
Microsoft.Dynamics.Framework.BusinessConnector.resources.dll
Microsoft.Dynamics.Framework.Data.Ax.resources.dll
Microsoft.Dynamics.Framework.Expression.AxExpressionBuilder.dll
Microsoft.Dynamics.Framework.Metadata.Ax.resources.dll

This is really strange, the file missing is actually named differently in that folder (you see it’s missing an resources.dll) - not sure how this happened.

Rename the file and retry; it should work fine.

Hello, .Net business connector problem is solved because some missing files

i have arranged another media and its ok now but when i try to inslall EP i get this error.

any help would be appreciated.
